History 2 Pixel Background

PIXELS...Early Digital Imaging

1992 saw my first Macintosh computer, and Adobe Photoshop 1.5, (which came on a series of floppy disks). Training was hard to come by, so for the most part I learned on the jobs that came in, as my clients and I became comfortable with the new technology. Even early on, the endless creative possibilities were mind-boggling...Photoshop became for me the ultimate "video game". In addition to the “fun” element, the ability to preview many variations as I worked, allowed me to find the best solution to a problem.

Further, to work with digitized information rather than original photos, provided a relaxing freedom: there were always "plenty more pixels where those came from"!
